Each Ultimate Girls
Getaway event sponsors new Sisters in war torn countries and provides
the tools women need to support their families, embrace their rights and
actively participate in the rebuilding of their communities.

religions - both those who need assistance and those who offer
it -must honor each other's differences. |

The one-on-one
approach deals with macro issues through micro solutions. By
strengthening local chapters we attempt to build or strengthen
civil societies in the countries where we work. |
My mother, Ksenia Piatka,
was a women survivor of war over 60 years ago and lost her first born
daughter, my sister Mary, while alone en-route to a displacement camp.
There were no organizations like Women For Women to help women back then
but now there is.

today’s women of war. If we can help stabilize the women, we can
stabilize their communities and their countries. Stronger women mean
stronger nations.
